SENASA supports the “declaration on cooperation and promotion of sustainable aviation fuel”, signed by french and spanish governments.
SENASA, an environmental reference in aeronautical issues, and one of the main promoters at the national and international level in the impulse and use of sustainable aviation fuels, has declared its adherence and support, along with other important agents in the sector, to the declaration of intentions signed on March 15, 2021 by the states of France and Spain.
By means of which they express their intention to strengthen cooperation for the promotion and industrial deployment of sustainable aviation fuel, in order to facilitate exchanges between both countries and contribute to the emergence of a large European market in this sector.
This important declaration highlights the importance of sustainable fuels for the decarbonization of the aviation sector, as well as its crucial contribution to the achievement of the environmental goals established in the “European Green Pact “, published in December 2019, which sets the goal of climate neutrality in 2050.
In addition to SENASA, eleven companies from the aeronautical and energy sectors have expressed their support for this Declaration of Intent and the objectives promoted, and have expressed their support for cooperation between the companies and institutions of the two countries.
Specifically, the entities that have expressed their support for this Declaration have been:
✔️ Spanish entities: AENA, Airbus, IBERIA, ALA, ITP Aero, Air BP, REPSOL and SENASA.
✔️ French entities: Air France, SAFRAN, Dassault Aviation and TOTAL.
