Quadrise to advance luxury yacht biofuel venture to sea trials.
Quadrise PLC (AIM:QED) has announced an extension of a joint development agreement (JDA), with Vertoro BV, for its bioMSAR Zero sustainable marine fuel.
The proposed sea trial is part of a collaboration aimed at creating a sustainable fuel solution for luxury yachts.
Together, Quadrise and Vertoro are focused on accelerating sea trials for bioMSAR Zero.

The extension follows a pilot scale trial that used a bioMSAR formulation containing up to 40% of Vertoro’s crude sugar oil.
It will now see a prototype motor yacht constructed to act as a platform to test the innovative fuel.
Jason Miles, chief executive, said in a statement:

“This innovative approach together with a leading yacht builder will help deliver and advance our joint net-zero ambitions for the future.”
