FutureFuel delays Arkansas biodiesel production due to bad weather
FutureFuel (NYSE:FF) -2.6% in Monday’s trading after saying it delayed the restart of its biodiesel plant in Batesville, Arkansas, until the end of March due to severe weather after it was shut in December.
FutureFuel (FF) previously believed its turnaround of the Batesville plant would last through February 2025, but bad weather in the during the month affected its ability to complete the turnaround and restart the various production processes.
Instead, the company now expects biodiesel production likely will not restart until the end of March 2025 at the earliest, and other processes are anticipated to ramp up in early March.
