Delta Energy To Launch Biofuels Bunker Offering In Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp Next Month.
[Bunkerspot] Delta Energy has announced it will begin supplying biofuel bunkers in the ARA (Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp) region next month.The company said it had been granted International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC).

‘Delta Energy Fuel Supply & Trading BV are now a proud member of ISCC and are dedicated to help reduce their own GHG savings and look towards a sustainable future within the full supply chain,’ the company said in a social media post.
The company said the biofuel offering in the ARA region is expected to complement its UK physical supply operations.
As previously reported, Rotterdam-headquartered Delta Energy launched in February this year. The company also has offices in London, Hamburg, St Petersburg, Geneva, Seoul and Singapore.
In March, the company began physical supply operations in the Port of Antwerp.

Headquartered in Rotterdam and with six more trading offices, the company already has physical supply operations in the ARA and the UK and will be starting up more physical operations across Q1 2021.
Part of the shipping and logistics group, Delta Corp., Delta Energy will source and supply fuel for the Delta Corp Shipping chartered fleet and will also be brokering, trading and supplying bunkers for other shipowners, charterers and bunker traders.
The new company has several ex-GP Global staff on its books, including Chris Todd as Commercial Head, as well as Joe Tierney as Head of ARA Physical Supply, Chris Morgan as Global Head of Credit, Laurens Flipse as Head of Operations for ARA Physical Supply activities and Max Carnegie Jones as Head of Trading in the UK.
Delta Energy’s trading offices are located in London, Hamburg, St Petersburg, Geneva, Seoul and Singapore.
Chris Todd commented on the launch of Delta Energy: We have taken some time, got the groundwork and financing in place and ensured that we have everything completely ready to bring to market. It has been some time in gestation to do it properly but we are finally happy to report that all is where we want it to be and we’re good to go.
‘The barges are ready, the teams are trained and ready with everything they need to really hit the ground running. We have our systems in place with the full financial support and backing required, with two large bank lines already in use.’
Gert Nell, who heads up Delta Energy’s trading desk in Rotterdam and was previously at GP Global, will be talking about the Mauritius bunker market at Petrospot’s virtual and free to access Maritime Week Africa conference which is running on 16-17 February.
